Sustainable Weight Loss

As a Nutritional Therapist I believe that weight loss should be sustainable, that you shouldn't be hungry and that you should be full of energy. I believe that you can lose weight and keep it off whilst eating all the right nutrients.  

You've probably tried the no carbs after 4pm, the meal replacements, the low fat diet, the points system and the calorie counting. You may even have tried only eating soup or banning entire food groups. And what happens? Generally we lose a lot of weight in a short period of time and then put it all back on when we start eating normally.  Or we stick at it for less than a week and then give up because we're hungry, tired and really grumpy!

No Fad Diets

I don't believe in fad diets and I don't believe in strictly restricting calories.  And I know that when you do these things you may lose weight but it will all go back on, with perhaps a little extra, as soon as you eat normally again.
